Coronavirus information

Do you know someone who has been affected by Covid-19, a key worker, or someone who just deserves to know how much you care?

Silhouette of a bandstand with musicians performingThis is a unique opportunity to dedicate a song to them.

As we have been unable to experience the joy of live music around our newly restored bandstand in 2020, we would like to kick off the new year with a special kind of gig.

A selection of your dedicated songs will be performed by local musicians in a celebratory, online gig which will be recorded on the newly restored bandstand at a future date (subject to Government restrictions).

You can hear our Community Engagement Officer, Nicky Bellenger, talk to Brody Swain on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire about the event (3 hours 22 minutes in).

Dedicate a song

If you would like to dedicate a song to someone, please complete our online form by 12 noon on Monday 15 February 2021.

Before choosing your song, please bear in mind that it will likely be a solo musician who will be covering the song and each musician will have approx. 4 minutes to perform.

We anticipate a high volume of requests, and so the songs that will be performed will be selected at random. If yours is selected, we will be in touch to confirm using the details you provide on the online form.
