As the UK experiences record breaking June temperatures and the impacts of our warming climate become ever more apparent, local community organisation ARC  (Achieving Results in Communities) is asking the community - you - to support a hopeful, practical solution for future generations.

Between 2021 and 2023, more than 300 children and adults planted 3,000 trees at a site near Radford Semele, creating a brand new community woodland on an organic farm. Since then, ARC's qualified Forest School leaders have welcomed children from Radford Semele Primary School, Clapham Terrace Primary School, Lillington Primary School and Lillington Youth Group to learn, play and explore in nature's classroom.

Through regular sessions, children build confidence, develop practical skills and grow a genuine connection with the natural world. Families have also become part of the project through weekend woodland sessions, creating a community that is helping the forest flourish.
