The event is being organised for the benefit of the Residents of Kenilworth and any visitors to the town on the day. It is being organised to raise awareness and to publicise the new Augmented Reality
Please feel free to come and enjoy this unique Augmented Reality experience, presented by Kenilworth Town Council within Abbey Fields, its Museum and St Nicholas Church.
The event will comprise of 4 elements.
- Guide led tours of the experience around the 5 quests in the Kenilworth Revealed App.
- Six fun activities around the site supporting elements of the Kenilworth Revealed experience where visitors can collect stickers
- The Abbey Museum will be open with volunteers providing information about the Abbey to visitors.
- St Nicholas Church will host talks.
Activity Sites – 6 activities will be run in Abbey Fields including:
- Scribing as the Cannon did in 1500s
- Horse and Cart ride (free)
- Viewing and understanding the use of Leeches in medicine in 1500s.
- Playing games popular in the 1500s
- Have a go at Chanting
- View and try on clothes from the 1500s
