Artist Caitriona Dunnett will be exhibiting at Hill Close Gardens this summer as part of CultureFest 2022.
Dunnett has taken a series of cyanotype photographs which capture the beautiful surroundings of the Victorian Pleasure Gardens, a hidden gem located in Warwick.
This series has been printed and toned with pomegranate referencing 19th century painting and photography. Also on display are a series of photograms using plants and flowers from the gardens, located throughout the summer houses. A free family friendly trail is also available.
To celebrate the launch of the exhibition 'Art in the Gardens' - a Festival of Arts and Crafts is taking place on Saturday 16 July, where the artist will be delivering a free drop in cyanotype workshop (2-4pm). You can also meet artist and curator Alice Swatton between 11am to 1pm on the same day.
For more information see Hill Close Garden's website.
The exhibition is curated by Alice Swatton.
