We have received the news that Warwickshire County Council has not been selected to defer its elections this year.
What does this mean for WDC?
- We will continue with our plans to deliver elections on 1 May 2025
- We will not be in the first phase for devolution
It means we will continue with our business as usual until we hear more information about the criteria and timescales for local government reorganisation in Warwickshire. In the meantime, we will continue working together with our neighbouring councils to progress our collective proposals.
