Pump Room Gardens, Leamington

Thursday 28 July - Monday 8 August, 10am to 10pm

Join us for live sport from across the West Midlands on our big screen plus food, drink and plenty of family entertainment.

We'll be screening locally made films on our festival site screen throughout the day as part of CultureFest.

Pedi Cabs

BID Leamington have kindly organised two Pedi Cabs to transport people from the Pump Room Gardens into the town centre to grab a coffee, a bite to eat or do a spot of shopping. The cabs are completey free to use and are available on the following dates from 11am - 4pm:

  • Saturday 6 August

Activities across the festival site

All activities listed below will be taking place on various days across the duration of our festival site. There's plenty of activities available to suit everyone including art, sports and wellbeing.

Artlab

Local art company Artlab will be providing activities on both weekends on the following dates and times:

Bowls England

Try your hand at and get inspired by this Commonwealth sport! Available to try across the full 12 days of the festival site, you'll be able to give bowls a go and see just how exciting and challenging this sport can be.

Yoga

Stretch, breathe and relax with gentle yet energising yoga sessions.

We've got another Commonwealth sport for you to try, and you don't need a beach for it! The below sessions are confirmed, with more to be added.

Stained glass art for the Cycle Road Race

Sunday 7 August, 10am to 4pm

To celebrate the Cycle Road Race taking place in Warwick, we'll be joined by the Warwick Institute of Engagement who will be running a craft initiative using acetate to create stain glass effect windows.

You're encouraged to join us and colour the squares which will then be linked together and suspended from a frame attached to a trailer on the back of a bike.

We want you to create as many colourful sport and commonwealth themed designs in support of the Games.

Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony

Monday 8 August, from 5pm

We'll be showing the closing ceremony of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games live on our big screen, with music and entertainment from 5pm including a stilt walker and a hula hoop artist. The opening ceremony starts at 8pm.
