Register to vote
The deadline for registering to vote at these elections is midnight Tuesday 2 September 2025.
Applications for a postal vote
Applications to vote by post must be received by 5pm, Wednesday 3 September 2025. You can apply for a postal vote online. Alternatively, please contact Electoral Services for a paper application form by emailing elections@warwickdc.gov.uk or calling 01926 456105.
Postal vote despatch dates
Postal votes at these elections will be released into the mail system, with an expected delivery date on or around Monday 8 September 2025.
Applications for a proxy vote
Applications for a proxy vote must be received by 5pm, Wednesday 10 September 2025. You can apply for a proxy vote online. Alternatively, please contact Electoral Services for a paper application form by emailing elections@warwickdc.gov.uk or calling 01926 456105.
Candidates
Candidates are advised that nomination papers to stand as a candidate are available from the Electoral Commission online, or by contacting us.
The formal submission of a candidate’s nomination paper is by appointment only and will take place at our offices in Warwick.

Informal check prior to submission
An informal check of nomination papers may be requested prior to formal submission. Nomination papers to be checked informally should be scanned as pdf file and submitted by email to elections@warwickdc.gov.uk one full working day before your appointment.
A candidates and agents briefing will take place, further details will be given at your nomination appointment.
