There are a variety of issues facing many businesses during this difficult recovery period. Business in Warwick District are therefore encouraged to access and select from a suite of support, developed by WDC and partners, Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training (CWCCT) and Federation of Small Business (FSB). This support initiative has been supported through Government funding, allocated to local authorities and linked to Additional Restrictions Grant measures.

These packages of support are strictly limited and are only available for a short period, as funding for this scheme will cease on 31 March 2022. Therefore, please see below summary of what is available and find links to CWCCT and FSB websites, where you can enrol and find more information.

Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber Training (CWCCT) is one of the largest providers of skills development in the subregion, working with businesses and individuals to upskill, reskill and raise the productivity levels. Working in partnership with Warwick District Council (WDC), CWCCT has developed a package of targeted training support, including full and half day courses in leadership and management, sales, marketing and customer engagement, digital skills development, customer care and communication. Businesses in the WDC locality can benefit from financial support to address their skills needs.

Federation of Small Businesses

Federation of Small Businesses offers its members a wide range of vital business services including advice, financial expertise and support to help smaller businesses achieve their ambitions. In Warwickshire, FSB has partnered with Warwick District Council to put together a package of online business support on a range of topics of importance to small businesses. This includes workshops on managing late payments, mental health, business continuity and access to funding. These sessions will run from February 2022 and all small businesses across Warwick District can benefit from this business support to receive robust advice and information that can be easily implemented to help address a range of challenges being faced.
