Warwick District Council is looking for a Building Surveyor. You will be responsible for undertaking a full range of Project Management & Building Surveying duties and responsibilities, in order to maintain and improve the Council’s property portfolio and housing stock, ensuring that the Council’s responsibilities and duties as landlord and service provider are upheld in line with current and pending legislation.
Our Building Surveyors operate on a wide range of maintenance and improvement schemes and must be conversant with construction, property and contract related legislation. You will use your knowledge and skills to ensure that the built environment you is of the highest quality. You will ensure that all works carried is undertaken in a manner that least interferes with day to day operation and is undertaken safely and in a professional manner and is completed within budget and on time.
As well as having relevant qualifications, you will have experience of undertaking building surveys and planning and managing the resultant works, project managing major works with customers in their homes or business premises and experience of monitoring and managing budgets for individual projects.
