People across the country and the Commonwealth are invited to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort over a weekend of special events on 6–8 May.

What is the Coronation?

The Coronation is centred around a solemn religious ceremony that has remained largely unchanged for over 1,000 years and takes place at Westminster Abbey in London on Saturday 6 May 2023.

How can I get involved?

Get involved with Coronation Big Lunches, organising street parties or taking part in a day dedicated to good causes. Find out details about applying for a road closure for a street party.
