The Ovo Energy Women's tour is Britain's Largest Professional Cycle Race.

This year the women's cycle tour returns to Warwick District, with stage 3 finishing in Royal Leamington Spa on Friday 15th June. This is the third year that Warwickshire has hosted the Women's tour and it promises to be a great day.

The route takes the cyclists through Kenilworth, around Warwick and onto the finish line on Newbold Terrace in Royal Leamington Spa. The winner of the stage 3 race will be presented at the podium at approximately 14:00.

Activities Between 11:00 and 15:00 with a Street Party until 20:00

  • Strider Bikes race over the finish line before the Women's Tour arrives

  • Street Party on Newbold Street with local street food providers and live music.


All Warwick District Council car parks will remain open except for Rosefield Street.

Road Closures

The Women's Tour is supported by the National Police Escort team, who close the roads 15 minutes ahead of the peloton racing through the town. These closures hold up traffic for a minimal amount of time, ensuring the safe arrival of the cyclists. Please be mindful of this when travelling into town.

Road Closures in the town are as follows:

04:45 - 20:00

  • Newbold Terrace (junction with Willes Road and Parade)
  • Newbold Street
  • Euston Place
  • Rosefield Street

10:00 - 17:00

  • Hamilton Terrace (junction of the turning onto Regent Grove, to Parade)


The best viewing spots are High Street and Jury Street.
