There are plenty of opportunities for fresh air and countryside in the local area.

Warwick District Council owns ten nature reserves that are managed in partnership with Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. These reserves include habitats such as woodland, wildflower meadows and wetland.

We manage Newbold Comyn, a 120 hectare country park to the east of Leamington Spa, and Oakley Wood, a 47 hectare plantation woodland located south-east of Warwick near Bishop's Tachbrook.

Country parks

Warwickshire County Council runs a number of country parks.

Walking

Paths and trails can be found on the Warwickshire County Council website

We also maintain Riverside Walk, a route from Leamington to Warwick following the River Leam, Grand Union Canal and River Avon.
