Kenilworth is a small market town in Warwickshire. Within striking distance of Birmingham, Coventry, Leamigton and Warwick, but retaining its small town charm Kenilworth has plenty to offer resident and visitor alike.
Kenilworth is perhaps best known for its castle, which now lies in romantic ruins in the west of the town. A truly inspirational place, it has now been further enhanced with the recent addition of the restored Elizabethan Gardens. A short walk from the castle is the ruin of the Abbey of St Mary, which sits in Abbey Fields at the very centre of Kenilworth. Here you will find 68 acres of open space along with swimming pools (both indoor and out), tennis courts, a lake and numerous nature trails.
Shopping and eating out
To the north of Abbey Fields is High Street, which has an array of beautiful listed buildings along with independent retailers, traditional pubs and fine dining. To the south of Abbey Fields is Warwick Road, with its range of contemporary shops, bistros, bars and restaurants. For further information, please visit the listings on the Kenilworth website.
