Place Survey
The Place Survey superseded the BVPI Satisfaction Surveys and had more of a focus on place rather than Council Services. Council’s had a statutory requirement to undertake the survey every two years. The Government prescribed, in detail, the way the survey was undertaken. This was to ensure comparability of data across areas.
The survey collected data to inform 18 of the new National Indicators introduced by the Government in 2008/09. In addition, it asked for residents’ perceptions of the place they live, and their satisfaction with various public services. The survey findings were used by the Council and the Local Strategic Partnership to help establish its priorities for the future and in improving its services to residents.
Partnership Survey
The Government removed the statutory requirement to undertake the Place Survey in 2010. As an interim measure, in 2009/10, we undertook a Partnership Survey in conjunction with Warwickshire County Council.
Residents Survey
The Residents Survey which will be carried out every 2 years. The methodology of collection will be very similar to the Place Survey. The first survey was carried out in December 2010.
