Warwickshire Direct provides people with a single point of access to local information, advice and other key services, together on one site in a convenient town centre location. You can access a whole host of services at the centre, from enquiring about council tax and housing benefit to applying for a disabled parking blue badge or asking about free school meals.
The centre includes dedicated customer service desks, private areas where people can discuss matters confidentially and computer terminals that people can use to find out information themselves.
Surgeries
Every Wednesday morning, the Citizens Advice Bureau hold a surgery. Appointments are bookable in advance, by visiting Shire Hall or telephoning 01926 410410.
Every Tuesday morning, from 11am-12 midday, WDC Income Recovery hold a drop ins Surgery, where WDC tenants can discuss their rent issues.
The following services are available by appointment
- The Nationality Checking Service for people wishing to become British citizens runs on Mondays and Fridays, call 01789 29429 for an appointment
- The Identity and Passport Service for people wishing to apply for their first adult UK passport runs on Thursdays and Saturdays, call 0300 222 0000 for an appointment
