You can now pay your council bills in a number of ways.
Direct Debit
For council tax, business rates, and rent if you would like to take advantage of our Direct Debit scheme please call us on 01926 456338. Alternatively you can sign up online for business rates or council tax.
Website
For council tax, business rates, housing rents, parking penalty charge notices and invoices visit our online payments pages and follow the on screen instructions. There are no extra charges for paying by debit card however; credit card payments will incur a surcharge.
Telephone
For council tax, business rates, housing rents and invoices, if you would like to pay over the telephone call Freephone 0800 028 3377 and have your card and bill details ready. This is an automated telephone service and is available 24 hours a day. There are no extra charges for paying by debit card however; credit card payments will incur a surcharge. By Cheque
For council tax, business rates, housing rents, parking penalty charge notices and invoices, you can pay by cheque free of charge at any Post Office. Simply take your barcoded bill or plastic payment card and the cheque, made payable to Post Office Ltd and crossed “A/C Payee”, to your nearest Post Office.
By Cash
For council tax, business rates, housing rents, parking penalty charge notices and invoices you can pay by cash at any Post Office, or Pay Point outlet. Simply take your barcoded bill or plastic payment card to your nearest outlet.
