 Finance at Warwick District Council



The role of the Finance Service at the council is to ensure that the council’s money is spent wisely and in accordance with the priorities that have been agreed for the council.

Warwick District Council is a low spending authority, levying a relatively low council tax. For 2011/12 the district’s element of the council tax remains at £146.86 for band D a nil increase on 2010/11. This remains one of the lowest for a shire district in England. The total council tax raised is shared between the respective authorities in the district.
