Elections

The Electoral Registration Office provides a comprehensive election service for the district. All local, national and European elections held within the district are governed by election rules laid down in statute which must be strictly adhered to.

Electoral registration

Registers of parliamentary and local government electors must be prepared and published once a year, on 1st December. The electoral register can be inspected by the public at main council offices.
