Political structure

Warwick District Council has 46 elected councillors made up from four political groups. 

Control of the council

Following the last election in May 2007 the political composition of this council is

• Conservative (23 seats)
• Labour (9 seats)
• Liberal Democrat (9 seats)
• Independents (5 seats)

The Conservative group now have overall control of the Council. The Leader of the council and the executive is Councillor Michael Doody.
