If you are paying by credit card a surcharge of 2% will be added to the amount to cover the cost of the transaction. There is no additional charge for paying by debit card. Full details and security features.
Pay by direct debit
Most people pay by direct debit. Sign up online to pay by direct debit. Alternatively we can take your details over the telephone on 01926 353368. We have a choice of payment dates available 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th of the month for Council Tax accounts and non-domestic rates.

Take your bill and payment to any Post Office or PayPoint outlet.
WDC payment card
By using your plastic payment card at any Post Office or PayPoint Outlet. Payments made by Cheque or Credit/Debit Card at PayPoint are at the discretion of the retailer and may incur a charge.

Please note that none of the council offices have facilities for taking payments.

Help to pay your bill
If you are in receipt of Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance, Pension Credit or on a low income, you may qualify for a reduction in your council tax. This is called council tax benefit. You may also get help if you share your home with another adult, or adults, who are on a low income. This is called Second Adult Rebate. If you think you may qualify contact us straight away. Any delay could lose you benefit.
