Benefits advice for the bereaved

When a partner dies your income may be affected.

If you were:

• In receipt of housing or council tax benefit you should contact us at benefitsenquiries@warwickdc.gov.uk or visit us at one of our offices and we will advise you about your claim.
• If you did not previously claim as a couple you may now be able to get help with paying your rent and council tax, if your income is low.
• If you were not previously entitled to benefit you may now be eligible so should make a claim.
