Access to council buildings
There is a commitment to making access to all of our council buildings as easy as possible for everyone. Our leisure centre buildings have been adapted in a number of ways to comply with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act. Disabled access to leisure centres.
Jobs with the council
All of our job opportunities are open to everyone. We are positive about employing people with disabilities and operate a guaranteed interview scheme. If you have a disability and you fulfil all of the minimum requirements for the job you are applying for, you are guaranteed an interview.
Leisure activities
We run a number of weekly sessions for people with disabilities at our leisure centres.
