Public conveniences

Warwick District Council provides 14 public conveniences located across the district. The cleaning to the toilets is undertaken by an outside contractor who is responsible for the opening, closing and cleaning of the toilet blocks on a daily basis.

The toilets at Abbey End, Kenilworth will be closed between Monday 30th January 2012 and Friday 3rd February 2012.  This is to enable the installation of improved ventilation and lighting.  The nearest alternative Council toilets are located at Abbey Fields (by the leisure centre).  If you have any queries please call (01926) 456337.

Public toilet locations - coordinates (CSV file)

The toilets located at Myton Fields are open at weekends and Bank Holiday between Easter and October. These toilets will be open on a daily basis between 4th July and 30th August.

The toilet at Brome Hall Lane, Lapworth is open during the summer months. The Parish Council manage the cleaning of the toilets.

Satisfaction ratings and improvements

The Council monitors customer satisfaction with public conveniences on an annual basis. Half the users of public conveniences are either very or fairly satisfied with the provision of the service. 25% of users were very or fairly dissatisfied. Improvements have been made to most of the toilets which include:

  • Improved and upgraded Disabled Provision.
  • Baby changing provision at all locations.
  • New fixtures and fittings, floors and wall coverings and new lighting to aid the contractor achieve the cleaning.

Each of the toilet blocks has disabled access via the use of a Radar Key
