Use of parking waivers and suspensions
For tradesmen who are carrying out work at properties within Warwick District within a restricted area, we offer two types of dispensation. The two types available are a parking waiver, and a bay suspension. A parking waiver, is specific to a vehicle registration, and we cannot guarantee a parking space will be available. A bay suspension is more expensive then a parking waiver, however it does suspend a specific area requested, because of this a bay suspension cost is much higher.
Waivers
A waiver can only be obtained from Riverside House. They are specific to a certain street and restriction (i.e. Regent Street, Pay and Display Bays). A waiver is available to anyone working within Warwick District, and is issued for either limited waiting bays, or pay and display bays. If a waiver is purchased we cannot guarantee that a space will be available for you. A parking waiver is also specific to one vehicle, and is also non-refundable. Parking waivers have their own terms and conditions, and should you require a parking waiver you agree to these terms and conditions.

If more than one location is required for the same vehicle, then separate waivers must be purchased (one for each location). Depending on the duration of the works, the cost of waivers vary:
- £5 per day
- £15 per week
- £30 per calendar month
Bay Suspensions
A bay suspension is available to people who specifically require access to a certain limited waiting bay or pay and display bay. Legally a minimum of 72 hours notice is required before each suspension is put in place, this is to allow signage to be erected to inform the general public of the suspension, also for a site inspection of the requested area. A site inspection will also be required for the requested area, so we would ask that an application for a bay suspension be returned to us 5 working days prior to the requirement of the suspension.
