On street parking

Parking pay machine

On street charging has been in force since 2007, restriction can be identified by marked bays and signage upon the street notifying of the restrictions in force the specific street.

On-Street Charging

  • Leamington 20p for half hour / £1.00 for 1 hour and £2.00 for two hours.
  • Warwick 20p for half an hour / 90p for 1 hour and £1.50 for 2 hours.
  • Kenilworth - 70p for 1 hour and £1.00 for 2 hours.

All signage should be fully read to ensure that the vehicle is parked in accordance of the restrictions for that street, some streets only permit either 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours paid parking.

Loading and Unloading

The Loading Bays restrictions within Leamington Spa, Warwick and Kenilworth apply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Bank Holidays unless stated otherwise upon the signage.

Restrictions on loading or unloading are as follows;

  • Any vehicles that are not obviously “commercial” (e.g. Private cars) vehicle can stop for as long as necessary while continuously loading or unloading is actively taking place. If no loading or unloading is observed for 5 minutes, a penalty charge notice will be issued.

Should you receive a Penalty Charge Notice and you consider it to be incorrectly issued; then challenges must be submitted in writing and sent via post or email. And any supporting evidence should be attached to assist in the appeal process.

Motorcycle Parking On-Street

Motorcycles and mopeds are permitted to park for free within the following bays:

  • Residents/pay and display shared use bays for the maximum time stated upon the signage
  • In any pay and display bays for the maximum period stated upon the signage
  • Also in any limited stay bays which clearly state the maximum period of stay upon the signage.

For courtesy of other vehicles parking within on-street parking bays, it is advised that motorcyclists only use the minimum amount of space when parking.
