Recycling is about to get even easier – look out for the NEW recycling bins coming to a public place near you very soon! Warwick District Council trialled several recycling bins in Leamington Spa town centre during late summer this year to find out the public’s perception to separating litter from recycling.
Before the trial started Council staff did a breakdown of the contents in the normal litter bins and found the majority of the contents could in fact be recycled!
What do the recycling units look like?
The new recycling units will have 5 sections; 2 for general litter and 3 for recycling and will be placed across Leamington, Kenilworth and Warwick in areas of high foot fall, including many school routes.
By using these bins you will help to stop recyclable items needlessly ending up in landfill sites.
Where will they be?
