Public drinking water supplies are the responsibility of
Severn Trent
.
The Environmental Services Department at the council has a responsibility to monitor the analysis carried out by and the performance of Severn Trent in relation to public water supplies. It also has a duty to monitor private water supplies - for more information download the Drinking Water (26kb, PDF) document.
