10:10 campaign
The Council has signed up to the 10:10 Campaign.
This campaign promotes activities around reducing CO2 emissions across all organisations, by challenging them to achieve a 10% reduction in CO2.
Warwick District Council is committed to taking a lead in dealing with the issues presented by the climate change agenda. We are signatories to the Nottingham Declaration on Climate Change and have an agreed climate change strategy.
We have a number of energy efficiency schemes within our own properties, including wind, solar and biomass power generation schemes, and we work with partners Warwickshire Climate Change Partnership to promote energy efficiency amongst the community.
