Neighbourhood plans

A neighbourhood plan is a new type of plan introduced in the Localism Act. It will be the result of a community working together to decide how their local area should develop and grow in the future. Read our Neighbourhood Plan Frequently Asked Questions to find out more.

Current Applications for Neighbourhood Area Designation

In order to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan, a local community has to first notify the Council of its intentions to be a designated Neighbourhood Area, state its reasons and submit a map of the proposed area.

Stoneleigh and Ashow

Stoneleigh and Ashow Joint Parish Council has applied to Warwick District Council for designation of a Neighbourhood Plan Area under Part 2 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. The application and the map of the proposed are below.

Burton Green


Burton Green Parish Council has applied to Warwick District Council for designation of a Neighbourhood Plan Area under Part 2 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. The application and the map of the proposed are below.

Old Milverton & Blackdown

Old Milverton & Blackdown Neighbourhood Area was designated by Executive on 9 January 2013. The parish council was the relevant body that applied for the designation. A map of the neighbourhood plan area can be found below.

Whitnash

Whitnash Neighbourhood Area was designated by Executive on 9 January 2013. The town council was the relevant body that applied for the designation. A map of the neighbourhood plan area can be found below.
