Sports Pitches and Indoor Facilities Study

The Council is currently undertaking a comprehensive audit and assessment of all sports pitches and indoor facilities available to the public across the District. This will be important in helping to ascertain the current levels of sporting opportunities and facilities available and their capacity to cater for future demand. The study will embrace Council owned facilities, privately owned sports grounds and clubs as well as facilities within school sites across the District that provide access to opportunities for sport.
In order to understand the likely future demand, the input of local sports clubs and organisations has been requested. A questionnaire sent to clubs and organisations within the district is available to download below, along with the accompanying letter.
