Sports Pitches and Indoor Facilities Study

Warwick District Council, in partnership with Neil Allen Associates Ltd (NAA), are currently producing a sports Playing Pitch Strategy (PPS) which will guide future provision and management of sports pitches in the district.

Background

The strategy will evaluate the adequacy of pitch provision in terms of quality and quantity and will inform planning documents and the identification of priorities. We hope that the document will also be of benefit to clubs, particularly those with aspirations to improve the quality of their facilities or those who have difficulties in accessing existing facilities, as it can be used as evidence to support external funding bids. The strategy will consider the needs of all clubs, regardless of whether played on pitches owned and managed by the Council or or on privately owned pitches. The process is fully supported by the National Governing Bodies of Sport, including the ECB as well as by Sport England.

Clubs Survey

To ensure that the strategy accurately reflects issues in Warwick District, it is important that we hear the views of all clubs. Below is a short questionnaire and would be most be grateful if a representative of the club could fill it in and return by email. This is a full refresh of the survey that you may have completed in 2010 to get the most accurate and upto date information.

Please download and complete the questionnaire relevant to your sport:

Please arrange for the questionnaire to be emailed to pps@warwickdc.gov.uk
