Green Infrastructure is a network of green spaces and natural elements, which provides multiple benefits for people and nature.

Strategic Green Infrastructure Delivery Assessment 2012

Using the evidence identified in the GI Study 2010 (see below) an assessment was undertaken identifying some key project opportunities for new Green Infrastructure. The five main proposals were consulted on as potential options in the recent Local Plan consultation.

Green Infrastructure Study 2010

As part of the evidence base for the new Local Plan, a green infrastructure study was prepared. This identified key natural, ecological, health and quality of life assets and resources that make up Warwick District’s strategic green infrastructure network. The final report and associated plans can be found below.
