The Council operates a number of conservation grants schemes to help owners of historic buildings to restore or maintain their properties. These offer a percentage contribution towards the cost of certain defined works, and are offered on a discretionary basis.
Historic Grant Schemes operated by Warwick District Council
During this financial year, money is available within the following schemes:-

Leamington Grants Scheme - This fund is available to listed buildings and properties within the conservation areas of Leamington.

Warwick Grants Scheme - This fund is available to listed buildings and properties within the Warwick conservation area.

Historic Building Grants Scheme - This fund is available to listed buildings and properties within all other conservation areas (i.e. other than Warwick or Leamington).

Shopfront Grants Scheme - This fund is available to restore and reinstate traditional shopfronts in Conservation Areas across the District and along Warwick Road in Kenilworth.
Would I be eligible for a grant?
If you own a historic property and wish to be considered for a historic building grant, we would ask you first to complete the enquiry form below and return it to the Council. This form will provide us with sufficient information to determine whether a formal grant application is likely to be successful. The form can be completed in paper form or electronically. Please note that we ask that you provide photographs in support of the information you send us.
Once you have returned your completed form, the Council will respond to you within 12 working days to advise whether it can support a formal grant application. You will then be sent a grant application form.
If you are a public or not-for-profit organisation, you may also be able to receive grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund who can support a wide range of heritage related projects to listed and non-listed buildings.
