What is Sporting Stars?
The Sporting Stars scheme is designed to enable young sports people who have represented the county at sport to train at Warwick District Council leisure facilities at a discounted rate.
If you meet the criteria below you may receive a Sporting Stars membership card which entitles you to a maximum 50% reduction of the cost of using the following activities
- Use of Edmondscote Athletics Track
- Swimming
- Aquafit
- Gym (if aged 14 and accompanied by an adult)
- Exercise Classes (in house classes only)
The Card may be used at the following Warwick District Council leisure facilities:
Criteria
In order to become a member of the sporting stars scheme you must:
- Be aged between 8 and 18
- Have represented the county or above in your sport in the last 12 months
- Live within Warwick District
The Card
The Sporting Stars membership card is initially valid for one year and must be re-applied for annually providing the membership criteria is still met.
