There is a Ranger Service operating in Jephson Gardens and Mill Gardens, provided in partnership with Action 21. As well as helping to provides a safe and welcoming environment the gardens for all to enjoy, the ranger is involved in encouraging community use of the parks and providing information about their history and the plants and wildlife that can be found there now.
The Ranger has close links to the Police, the Council’s Parks section, and the gardeners who look after the gardens.
The Ranger is easily identifiable and is approachable at all times.
