Run by qualified members of leisure centre staff our fitness classes are designed to cater for all ranges of ability and fitness.

Booking and prices

Pilates

The latest in core conditioning, Pilates is the mind and body exercise technique which focuses on strength and flexibility from the inside out! Great for the posture, abs and back. Sessions with qualified instructors.

Circuit Training

Suitable for all levels of fitness. Strengthen, tone and improve general fitness with these circuit classes using free weights, body weight and resistance tubes.

Aerobics

Classes suitable for all levels of fitness. Daytime and evening classes available. 

Fitball

An innovative new concept in core conditioning - improve your posture and general fitness in this fun class. All equipment provided.

Bums Legs and Tums

A fun and friendly class based on aerobic and stretching exercises focussing on lower body fitness.

Aquafit

Water based exercise classes suitable for all levels of fitness. Classes generally take place in shallow water so you do not need to be able to swim to take part.

Easy Does It

Easy does it is a new activity which includes light and gentle exercise and stretching to music, aimed to cater for the older adult.

Boxercise

Boxing based circuit class focusing on both strength and endurance training. With the use of focus mitts and punch bags, this can be adapted for all levels of fitness.

Yoga

Yoga is a traditional eastern discipline developed over thousands of years that combines a series of postures with the breath, bringing balance and harmony to the body and mind. It can help relieve physical and mental tension, boost the immune system, encourage relaxation and correct posture alignment.

Kettlebells

Kettlebells are a cast iron weight resembling a bowling ball with a handle. Kettlebell training is an efficient all body workout using ballistic exercises, combining cardiovascular, strength and flexibility conditioning

Muaythai

Classes are fun, challenging, and highly spirited. We welcome people of all abilities to join our supportive environment for mind-bodytraining for self defence and everything you do… in battle and in daily life. No egos. No experience required.
