Children's University & Kids College
Children’s University and Kid's College provide children aged 5 - 7 and 7 - 13 years with the opportunity to extend learning beyond school by completing modules in a diverse range of activities including sport.
To complete one module, children must complete 8 hours of out of school hours activities, run by either a school or organisation which is registered to Children’s University. Warwick District Council is registered with Children’s University and courses marked with the Children's University logo can contribute towards achieving a children's university module. Call 01926 456222 for more information.
Modules run by Warwick District Council
Warwick District Council is registered with Children’s University and therefore offer a range of activities, particularly during the school holidays which can contribute towards achieving a Children’s University module. Activities which can contribute towards a Children's University module are marked with the Children's University logo on our holiday activities leaflet (201kb, PDF).
Each time you attend a different Children’s University sports course, simply ask the leader in charge of the session to complete your Childrens University record card. Childrens University record cards are available from any Warwick District Council Leisure Centre. Your card must be completed on the day of the course so please don’t forget to take your card with you to the session.
What do I get for undertaking Children’s University?
Once you have completed your first module (8 hours) you will receive a certificate. After you have completed 3 modules you will receive a bronze medal, after 6 modules a silver medal and if you achieve 9 modules you will be awarded a gold medal.
