Sometimes it's difficult to know who you should contact if you have a query about trees. It all depends on where the tree is. Here is a brief summary:

Trees in pavements

Trees in pavements are owned by Warwickshire County Council Highways. In the urban areas of the district (ie within Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Warwick or Whitnash) Warwick District Council manages these trees on the county's behalf.

If the problem you are reporting is disruption to the footpath surface by tree roots, contact County Council Highways on 01926 412515. Otherwise

  • for trees in the urban area, contact Warwick District Council on 01926 456226
  • for street trees outside the urban area, contact County Council Highways on 01926 412515.
