There are dozens of parks and greenspaces for local communities in Warwick district. Some are managed by Warwick District Council. Others are provided by town and parish councils. This page lists the main ones.

Bates’ Memorial Field

• Linked open spaces in Eastern Kenilworth residential area. Level.
• Nearest play areas – Bates’ Memorial Field; St John’s.

St John’s

• Play area. Space for informal recreation. Level.
• Access from Guy Road and Leycester Road.

Leamington Spa – North

Mason Avenue Park, Lillington

• Play area. Teen shelter. Basketball. Football pitches. Slopes.
• Access from Valley Road, behind church and library. Also from Charnwood Way.
• Other access beside youth centre, Mason Avenue.

The Holt, Lillington

• Play area. Basketball station and kickabout. Space for informal recreation. Level.
• Access from Cubbington Road and The Holt. 

Dragon Cottage play area, Beverley Hills Estate

•  Play area. Grass. Stream. Natural character.
• Access from Guy’s Cliffe Avenue and Old Milverton Road

Leamington Spa – South

Eagle Recreation Ground

• Play area. Space for football and cricket. Level.

Redland Road Recreation Ground

• Play area. Space for football and informal recreation. Level.

Othello Park

St Mary’s Lands (Warwick Racecourse)

• Race course. Warwick Golf centre. Walks. Woodland.

Woodloes Park

Canalside

• Play areas. Ample space for informal games. Woodland. Scouts HQ. Fairly level.
• Access from Coventry Road, Greenway, roads south of Deansway, Scar Bank, Lock Lane.
• Continues north to Raynesford Walk, Twycross Walk and Primrose Hill.
• Informal access to Grand Union Canal towpath, Cape Locks.
