Computers and the internet in local libraries
You can get access to computers, email and the internet in local libraries. You can also book a library computer online if you hold a library card. See our library page for more about libraries and how to join.
Warwickshire Silver Surfers Project
The Silver Surfers Project is about
- Promoting independent living for older people by providing access to services through the internet.
- Helping older people communicate with each other, with relatives and with local community organisations, by using information technology.

Recycling computers
The following can help you recycle your computer
- CovWise will collect PCs, monitors and printers at no charge. Call 02476 229687.
- Inside Out Trust Computers - (will not accept monitors). Call 01789 414419.
- Environmental Concern Limited will collect but make a charge for taking away the computer. Call 0121 333 3155.
Otherwise you can take your computer to the local Household Waste Recycling Centre (e.g. Princes Drive or Cherry Orchard) where it will be safely disposed of.
