Affordable Housing Requirements

In July 2005 Outside UK were commissioned to carry out a full housing assessment of the needs and demands for residential accommodation within Warwick District. The final report is below, as it is a large pdf document it has been broken down into five parts to enable easier access/download.

For all new housing developments of 10 dwellings or 0.25 hectare or more in urban areas, or 3 dwellings or more in rural areas the minimum affordable housing requirement is 40%.

Developers are encouraged to seek informal advice on the Council's requirements from Housing Strategy (see below) or Planning Officers before submitting an application for planning consent.
