The council undertakes a number of surveys of housing in the district:
Housing needs survey
A survey to identify the housing need in the district which is used as the basis for planning the need for additional affordable housing.
Tenant satisfaction survey
A comprehensive survey of the views of council tenants on the range of services provided by Housing Services as landlord. Updated in full every three years with interim surveys of specific service areas.
Stock condition survey
A survey of the council's housing stock used to identify the investment needs to improve the stock ensures the Government's Decent Homes Standard is met in full by 2010.
