Housing surveys

The council undertakes a number of surveys of housing in the district:

Needs survey

A survey to identify the housing need in the district which is used as the basis for planning the need for additional affordable housing.

Tenant satisfaction survey

A comprehensive survey of the views of council tenants on the range of services we provide as landlord. Updated in full every two years with interim surveys of specific service areas.

Stock condition survey

A survey of the council's stock was used to identify the investment needs to improve the stock and ensure the Government's Decent Homes Standard was met in full by 2010.
