Introduction
Warwick District Council provides a crematorium in the peaceful woodland setting of Oakley Wood together with four cemeteries. Burials and cremations are available for all denominations.
If you have recently suffered a bereavement we recommend that you contact an undertaker who will be able to talk you through the various options for cremation or burial. The links below will tell you more about the facilities that Warwick District Council can provide:
Voluntary Support Organisations
If you feel that you would like support following your recent bereavement, staff at the crematorium can put you in touch with a local branch of Cruse Bereavement Care.
Cruse provides trained and experienced Counsellors who can listen, understand and help cope with the feelings of despair, guilt or remorse that bereavement often brings.
The Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (SANDS) has many local branches throughout the UK. Members are all parents who have themselves experienced the loss of a baby and are able to offer support to the more recently bereaved. Support can be long or short term, either on a one to one basis or through group meetings.
