Disabilities

The Leisure and Amenities Unit has an ongoing aim of improving the quality of its service for all residents of the district. There is a commitment to making access to all council buildings as easy as possible for everyone. 

 

Leisure centre buildings have been adapted in a number of ways to comply with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act. Further information on disabled access.

 

In addition a number of weekly sessions for people with disabilities are run within the district.
