The Warwick District Local Plan was placed on deposit for public comment between 12th December 2003 and 23rd January 2004. During this time a total of 1,399 comments were received from members of the public, local interest groups, parish councils, landowners, businesses, statutory consultees, developers and other interested parties. Of these, 1,122 were objections and 277 were supporting comments.
The Council has now completed an analysis of all these comments. This analysis informed the Council when it approved the Revised Deposit Version of the Local Plan in May 2005.
A summary of the objections made to the local plan, and the Council's response to them, are set out below. The comments of individual objectors have been grouped under the policy, paragraph or plan to which they relate. If you are someone who objected to the First Deposit Version, then you can view our response to your comments under the relevant section of the local plan. If in doubt, these will have been listed in the schedule that was sent to you in the spring of 2004 confirming your objections.
