Warwick District Local Plan - Public Inquiry

Following the consultation periods on the Local Plan held in December 2003 to January 2004 and July to August 2005, a total of 354 individuals and organisations made comments on the Local Plan.  You can download the Full list of objectors (70kb, PDF).

The Council asked the Planning Inspectorate to appoint an inspector to hold a public inquiry into objections to the Local Plan. The Inspectorate appointed Mr. Clive Richardson as the Local Plan Inspector.

The Inquiry commenced on Tuesday 4th April 2006 and closed on Wednesday 6th September 2006. 

For the Inquiry, the following information was published.

• Notes of the Pre Inquiry Meeting (95kb, PDF) held on 5th January 2006.
• The Core Documents List (67 kb) produced for the Inquiry.

In the run up to the Inquiry, the Council published the following information.

• Consultation papers on "Omission Sites".
• An analysis and response to the objections made to the Revised Deposit Version, together with some suggested changes to the Local Plan.
• A series of core topic papers that underpined the Council's evidence at the Inquiry.
