As part of the protection of our historic towns and villages, Warwick District Council are required from time to time to review areas for possible Conservation Area designation.
Reviews have been carried out at all existing Conservation Areas in the District from 2002 to 2006. We have now carried out a review of all rural settlements in the District which currently do not have Conservation Area status. A report setting out the draft proposals was taken to the District Council's Executive in March 2007 (for a copy of this report please contact Member Services on 01926 450000).
Proposed Conservation Areas at Baginton, Eathorpe and Wappenbury
As part of the review process, it is important that adequate public consultation is carried out and that everyone who will be affected by any new conservation areas which are being proposed has an opportunity to comment on these proposals. The final period of public consultations concluded on 14th September and a report recommending designation of conservation area at Baginton, Eathorpe and Wappenbury was approved by WDC Executive on 22nd October. Residents affected by the approved plans are being contacted and informed about the implications of the changes.
