The Affordable Housing Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted on 11th January 2008. This followed a period of public consultation on a Draft SPD between 31st August and 12th October 2007. A resolution of the Council's Executive Committee on 10th December 2007 agreed to incorporate changes, as a result of the consultation exercise, and adopt the SPD.
The Background Documents provide further information on the consultation exercise.
Please note that, following the consultation exercise, the Mixed Communities element of the SPD was removed and, alternatively, it was agreed by the Council to incorporate this into Development Control Guidance on the Mix of Housing.
