Disability Equality Scheme

With the launch of its Disability Equality Scheme (DES), Warwick District Council will be making clear its commitment to removing the barriers that affect disabled people. The new DES has been developed in conjunction with the Warwick District Disability Forum and with the active involvement of disabled people across Warwick District, through a series of workshop events and an online questionnaire.
The DES is part of the Council’s Equality and Diversity Plan and Action Plan, which sets out the way in which the Council will eliminate unlawful discrimination and promote equality for all people.
