UK Parliamentary General Elections are held at least every 5 years and can be called at any time which the Government of the day chooses.
Warwick District has two parliamentary constituencies Warwick & Leamington and Rugby & Kenilworth, each represented by one Member of Parliament (MP). However from the next General Election these will be amended to a Warwick and Leamington Constituency and a Kenilworth and Southam Constituency.
The next General Election will take place before May 2010.
